June was a busy month. In early June, we presented results showing the contributions of high-metabolic rate organ mass to resting energy expenditure prepubertal children at the International Society for Body Composition Research Symposium in Cascais, Portugal.
Later in June, we presented results from the Columbia Center for Children's Environmental Health at Society for Pediatric and Perinatal Epidemiologic Research and the Society for Epidemiologic Research in Seattle, Washington.
Then in late-June and early-July, Dr. Widen went to Kisumu, Kenya to lead anthropometry and body composition training for the Pith Moromo Study.
