Pre-pregnancy overweight and obesity associated with child neurodevelopment

Our paper in Maternal & Child Nutrition was published online! In the Child Health and Development Studies (CHDS) cohort, we examined how pre-pregnancy BMI was associated with child neurodevelopment at age 9. Briefly, we found that pre-pregnancy obesity and overweight were associated with lower verbal test scores. Pregnancy weight gain did not impact associations.
